The autumn Budget 2024 is just around the corner and the focus is on new Chancellor Rachel Reeves. It will take place on the 30 October and will be the first Labour budget since 2010. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has already cautioned that this will be a challenging budget, hinting at tax increases aimed at those with the "broadest shoulders" and those responsible for the current state of the UK economy. He emphasised the necessity of short-term sacrifices for long-term benefits.
